Let the wine speak
before the label does.
Before you’ve poured a drop, the label has already told you what to expect: who made it, where it’s from, what it cost.
Hiding the label takes that away. You taste the wine on its own, make up your mind, and only then find out what it is.

Taste
Six bottles, wrapped and numbered. No label, no producer, no region. The only thing you know is the number on the tag.
Open them when you like, in one night or over a few weeks, on your own or with friends.

Guess
Pour, taste, and decide what you think. The only rule is that you taste before you reveal.

Reveal
When you’re ready, scan the QR code on the tag. You’ll see the producer, the wine, the vintage and where it’s from. Some bottles will confirm what you thought. Some won’t.
Each reveal links to the producer, so if a wine grabs you, you know where to get more.
Two releases a year.
We plan two main releases a year. Each one stays on sale until it’s gone, so there’s no window to catch.
It isn’t a subscription. You buy each release on its own, with no ongoing commitment.
A few things people ask.
A mix of varieties, styles and regions, chosen because they’re interesting to taste blind. We don’t stick to one grape, style or region.
We choose every wine ourselves, buying from wineries and distributors. Some producers help with the reveal, but that never decides whether a wine gets in. Read how we select.
Shipments are delivered by courier across New Zealand. Shipping costs vary by region and are confirmed at checkout. An adult signature is required on delivery. Wine is not left unattended.
